Mr. and Mrs. William Victor Harper of Normal, IL, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Gilmore Harper, to Seth Jacob Grieder of Carlock, IL. Mr. Grieder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grieder of Carlock, IL.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. on December 10, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomington, IL.

Mrs. Harper is the former Carol Annette Gilmore of Vicksburg and Mr. Harper is a former resident of Jackson.

Lindsay is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Gilmore of Hattiesburg and Mr. and Mrs. William W. Harper of Fort Mill, SC.

Seth is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kuntz of Goodfield, IL, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Grieder of Carlock, IL.

Miss Harper is a 2007 graduate of Normal Community West High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing in Charleston, IL. She is a registered nurse and is employed at the Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, IN.

Mr. Grieder is a 2007 graduateof Normal Community West High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Champaign, IL. He is employed by Cummins Engines in Columbus, IN.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Columbus, IN.
