Brendan Jones, Morgan Jones, and Whitley Yates are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their parents, Amanda Moore Yates of Seminary and Ransom Powell Jones IV of Petal.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Charlie F. and Marsha Yates of Collins and Michael B. and Pat Moore of Seminary. She is the granddaughter of David and Jackie Daniel of Seminary and the late Arthur and Katie Moore of Seminary.

Parents of the prospective groom are Jenny W. Powell of Hattiesburg and Ransom P. Jones III of Leakesville. He is the grandson of the late M.L. and Genevieve Wright of Pascagoula and the late Ransom P. and Sally Jones of Waynesboro.

Wedding vows will be exchanged in an intimate ceremony on the evening of October 1, 2011, at the home of Ransom Powell Jones III. A reception for the couple is to follow.
